| 1st Annual Legends Game to open Down Syndrome Benefit Tournament Weekend |
| Friday, March 26th at the Glen Allen Complex we will hold the first annual Legends Game. Any member of the Central Virginia ASA Hall of Fame can participate. You can be a player, an umpire, a coach or a sponsor. Everyone that plays in the game will be given a t-shirt to wear. Teams will be decided at the field. This game is for fun!! Game will be begin at 6:00 p.m. Please contact Gordon Haab if you're interested in participating. After the game, there will be a Home Run Hitting Contest with four divisions: Open, Women, Senior - 50 and over and Senior - 60 and over. Entry fee is $10. This contest is open to anyone. Each entry will receive a t-shirt. Winner in each category will receive a prize. The new ball team, the Richmond Squirrels will be at the complex. They'll be giving away prizes and chances to win tickets to their games. Their announcer will be annoucing the Legends Game. There will be other vendors there to provide information and items to the fans. So bring your family out for a night of fun and remembrance. Deadline for entering the Legends Game is Friday, March 19th. | It is a great tournament with food and fun for everyone. Details of the tournament are below: Date: Feb 27th 2010 COST:$150.00 4GG High/ Low For 150.00 you receive 4 games of softball and a free lunch per team member. Lunch will consist of BBQ Sandwiches, Hot Dogs, Chips, Baked Beans, Potato salad. There will a nominal charge for drinks. Awards: There will be team plaques for 1st and second in each Div. This is a fun tournament and a really great deal so come out and get your team ready while we prepare our umpires for the upcoming season. I have only four spots left so please sign up on line soon.
